Details

The Department for Transport (DfT) launched the UK Shipping Office for Reducing Emissions (UK SHORE) programme in March 2022. With total funding of £236 million, the programme was designed to reduce maritime emissions and create skilled jobs across the country by accelerating the research into and development of clean maritime technologies.

This research report includes an early evaluation of the processes and impact of the UK SHORE programme as a whole and of its schemes.

DfT has commissioned Frontier Economics and SYSTRA Ltd to complete this research.
