Details
The Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF) was recently introduced to assess teaching quality and student outcomes across undergraduate higher education (HE) in the UK, with a view to driving up quality, and ensuring applicants have the information they need to make informed choices.
This report identifies how the TEF performed in its initial provider-level phase, with both HE providers and applicants to HE. It identifies the emerging impact of TEF against its longer-term aims and informs DfE and OfS work to continuously improve its delivery.
