Research results of people who had changed their cycling behaviour since the start of the Cycling City and Towns (CCT) programme. The research investigated the:
- influential factors and circumstances associated with these changes, including the programme
- process of behavioural change
The research identifies the:
- triggers for changes in how people choose to travel
- contextual factors which support or constrain cycling
The Cycling City and Towns Programme was implemented across England from 2008 to 2011.
