This mixed-methods process evaluation presents information on the:
- approaches to funding providers
- alignment of projects funded with project aims
- success factors and challenges in implementing the programme
- effectiveness of recruitment and retention processes
- extent activities were reaching intended participants
- perceived benefits of participation in programme activities
- sustainability of the approaches taken
- lessons learned for future practice
This publication also includes a short, lessons learned report aimed at schools and providers of extra-curricular activities which focusses on lessons for practice based on the findings of the process evaluation.
