Details
In April 2020, the government pledged £750 million to ensure the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector could continue delivering their vital work during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport commissioned the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) and RSM UK Consulting to carry out an evaluation of this funding package. The evaluation assesses the delivery of the funding package and its impact on grantholders, volunteers and people and communities in need, as well as looking at what lessons can be learned for future funding initiatives.
Alongside the full report are the following supporting documentation:
- summary findings
- case studies (includes qualitative, in-depth studies from 19 grantholder organisations)
- technical annex (includes the Methodology)
- scoping report (provides an overview of the funding package, and sets out the research plan and Theory of Change for this evaluation)
