Details

The IPO has commissioned an independent feasibility study to inform the government’s assessment and analysis of possible options for a future intellectual property rights exhaustion regime following exit from the EU.

The study finds that the data available on the extent and scale of parallel trade is limited. It does not carry out an analysis of the different options and therefore does not make policy recommendations.

The IPO is committed to engaging fully with stakeholders and consulting before any changes are made. If this issue is of interest to you or you think you may be affected please email us.
