The Commission, in Implementing Regulation 2020/1427 OJ ref. L336, the extension of anti-dumping duty on monosodium glutamate at the rate of 39.7%, originating in the People’s Republic of China, to a slight modification of the product.
The regulation takes effect from 14 October 2020.

Customs authorities are directed to discontinue the registration of imports and collect the duty, which has been applied to imports during the registration period, for example from 21 February 2020.
Exporters/producers not involved in circumvention practices may apply to the Commission for exemption from registration, if they meet the conditions. Refer to regulation 2020/1427 for details.
