Details

The Children and Social Work Act 2017 introduced a new duty on local authorities to provide Personal Adviser (PA) support to all care leavers up to age 25, if they want this support.

This new burdens assessment is a revised version of the new burdens assessment that was published when the Children and Social Work Bill was introduced to Parliament in May 2016.

The new burdens assessment is to inform local authorities of the total funding for the new duty extending Personal Adviser support to age 25.
