This guidance has been prepared in line with the government response to the consultation on ‘reporting payments to governments’.

Industry asked for views on the draft to ensure that their interpretation meets the requirements of the EU Accounting Directive and UK regulations. They also asked for views on whether the guidance is clear and easy to understand.

The consultation on the draft industry guidance is now closed. The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) will consider the guidance further once the next draft is available.
