UK Visas and Immigration guidance on how staff decide claims for asylum under the family asylum claims process.

The family asylum claims process must be used where the main claimant and their dependant children have common grounds of alleged persecution, which can be considered as part of a single asylum decision.

The dependants guidance should continue to be followed for child dependants who are not claiming asylum, and for adult dependants.
