This Annex details the specific conditions of a grant under the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2023.

This Annex lists conditions your business must continue to meet to be eligible for the Grant, in addition to the terms and conditions outlined in Annex 2. Under these grant specific conditions, the Agreement Holder shall:

  • keep their business details and contact information in the Rural Payments service up to date
  • if applicable, confirm the level of subsidy received in the current and previous two financial years under the Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA)
  • read, understand and agree to the FETF 2023 Terms and Conditions shown at Annex 2 of this Manual
  • purchase items which meet the minimum specification as set out in Annex 3 and 4 of this Manual
  • make sure that none of the items funded by the application are replacements covered by an insurance claim
  • not use lease or hire purchase to buy any of the items in your application, as your business will need to have fully paid for all items (with the funds having left your bank or building society account) and own the items outright.
  • maintain accurate records of all money spent

  • keep appropriate records of such expenditure in the form of receipts, invoices and bank statements, as appropriate. The Agreement Holder shall scan and submit these with their claim
  • submit a claim for all items over the course of the project by the deadline included in your Grant Funding Agreement, after the Items have been paid for, delivered, installed and are in use (if required)
  • submit photographs with their claim in accordance with the Manual, to prove the item meets the specification, is installed in the agreed location and is in working order (if applicable). The Authority reserves the right to request further photographs from the Agreement Holder for proving the item meets the specification, is in situ and/or is in working order.
  • keep their business bank or building society account details in the Rural Payments service up to date
  • during the term of the Grant Funding Agreement (GFA), meet any statutory and regulatory obligations, including (but not limited to) obligations that arise in respect of health and safety, employment, hygiene, environmental management and protection, animal health and welfare and any other such obligations

  • keep items in your ownership for at least five years from the date of the grant payment
  • retain paperwork associated with this GFA for seven years from the date of the final grant payment
