Due Diligence Guide for external partners

Details

The PrOF provides the framework, mandatory rules and guiding principles for the implementation of FCDO delivered policy programming. The PrOF Rules do not cover non-policy programme elements of FCDO’s work (such as, human resources, security and estates).

The PrOF enables programme delivery excellence across FCDO’s global network building on UK government best practice.

This will help to ensure FCDO delivers against its vision to:

  • build shared global prosperity
  • eradicate poverty
  • tackle climate change
  • strengthen the international rule of law and global security
  • promote free open societies

FCDO maintains high standards of programme delivery, risk management and due diligence, in the wide range of difficult places we work. We take evidence-based decisions, apply professional judgement, act proportionately, learn and share lessons, ensure a clear audit trail of our decisions and be properly accountable to UK taxpayers in everything we do.
