Details
Applications for FE initial teacher education bursaries and grants for the 2021 to 2022 academic year have now closed.
Funding is allocated in order of eligible applications received. Any eligible applications received between 28 October 2021 (when initial funds were used up) and 19 November have been added to a waiting list. We will reallocate any funding released due to trainee withdrawals to those on the waiting list by mid-December. We will accept no further applications.
The bursary manual is for providers offering pre-service ITE courses. It sets out the scope, eligibility criteria and details for the 2021 to 2022 academic year ITE bursaries offer.
The grants manual is for ESFA-funded FE providers who will employ individuals starting in-service ITE programmes in the 2021 to 2022 academic year. It sets out the scope, eligibility criteria and details for the ITE grants offer.
We will publish information regarding the availability of funding for any incentives schemes in future years in due course.
