Notice is hereby given that:
In pursuance of section 19(1) of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 35(1) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, Natural England has, by the Fenn’s, Whixall and Bettisfield Mosses National Nature Reserve No.05 Declaration made on the 30th day of July 2021, declared the land referred to therein a National Nature Reserve.
The land having a total area of 39.60 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the Parish of Whixall in the Unitary Authority of Shropshire and shown single hatched and shaded yellow on map A attached to the said Declaration, has been acquired and is held by Natural England and is being managed as a nature reserve.
Natural England is satisfied that the land is of national importance.
