Whilst i3 are predominantly a self-delivery organisation there are limited supply-chain opportunities generally. In this regard, following successful approval as a vendor of one of the 3 joint venture partners within i3, specific opportunities will be communicated via the procurement team.
Within the vendor approval process, i3 carry out research to ensure that only companies who can deliver the works are engaged, taking account of: ability to respond to time constraints, SQEP resource assessments and other challenges that may arise resulting from the nature of work undertaken and the structure/composition of the joint venture.

The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) delivers decommissioning services and executes work in support of the Strategic Implementation Plan for the First Generation Magnox Storage Pond (FGMSP).
TDA utilises it’s experience to help shape delivery through innovation, enhancing and coaching in line with the ‘decommissioning mindset’ offering a focussed collaborative relationship between TDA, Sellafield Ltd and the other Lot Delivery Partners.
TDA supports accelerated mitigation of radiological and environmental risks posed by facilities within FGMSP.
