Details

This memorandum of understanding has been agreed between the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the government of Greenland on enhancing cooperation on fisheries.

The primary aim of the MoU is to foster cooperation:

  • in international fisheries fora, such as regional fisheries management organisations (RFMOs)
  • on sustainable international fisheries management
  • between the participants’ private sectors
  • in scientific research
  • in respect of domestic fisheries management and processing
