1. The variation effective from 00:01hrs Saturday 01 June 2024 is as follows:          

1.1 10m & Under Non-Sector Quota Increase

  • Affecting 10m & Under licence categories A (91/99) and A (Limited) (94/99)
SPECIES SEA AREA (AS STATED IN ANNEXE) QUOTA SET FROM (TONNES) QUOTA SET TO (TONNES)

1.2 Clarification of Undulate Ray Restrictions

  • Affecting all licence schedules and annexes

Wording amended in licence schedules:

FISHING RESTRICTIONS FOR UNDULATE RAY

Undulate ray (Raja undulata) can be caught in ICES subareas 7 d and e only between the hours of 00:01 on 1st January and 23:59 on 30th April; and 00:01 on 1st September and 23:59 on 31st December.’ Each calendar year a fishing vessel may retain on board and land any undulate ray caught in ICES area 7d and 7e provided that the following conditions are met:

Undulate Ray (Raja undulata) - 6, 7a-c, 7f-k and 10
