2.1 Removal of Scallop closure in area VIId

Affecting licence Schedules for Categories A (11), Category A Islands (12), Cat A Pelagic (17), Category B (31) and Category C (41)

Removal of the following licence conditions within the Schedule, relating to a seasonal closure for scallop in area VIId.

5.2.3 Fishing for scallops using dredges in ICES area VIId is prohibited between 00:01hrs on 15 August 2022 and 23:59hrs on 04 October 2022.

5.2.4 The vessel may not be present in the areas referred to in condition 5.2.3 whilst carrying dredges on board other than when transiting at a speed of greater than six knots (except in the case of force majeure or adverse conditions) or when in port. Dredges must be lashed and stowed in accordance with Article 47 of Council Regulation (EC) 1224/2009.
