We (the Environment Agency) are the data controller for this service.
Personal data we are collecting is limited to your name, email address, employer (or institution) and optionally, online and social media profiles. Please only provide the minimum amount of personal data.
The lawful basis for processing your personal data is to perform a task in the public interest that is set out in law.
We will use your personal data to contact you about your case study.
We may share your data with other organisations within the Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Research and Development Programme (the FCERM R&D Programme) to fulfil the above purpose.
The FCERM R&D Programme includes the Environment Agency, the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, Welsh Government, and Natural Resources Wales.
Your data will remain within the FCERM R&D Programme.
We will not share your details with any other third party without your explicit consent unless required to by law.
If we contact you about a case study this agreement remains in place.
Your data will be processed and stored inside the European Economic Area.
We will keep your information in our database for 5 years from the date of submission.
