Details

This guidance explains good practice for both asset maintenance and inspection. It also outlines how digital tools and techniques will transform inspections and maintenance in the future.

It is based on feedback from:

• risk management authorities (RMAs) in England
• industry standards
• research

Many RMAs flood risk maintenance programmes exceed these standards. Where there is no-asset specific standard, this document gives a minimum reference.
