This request was for information on the number of shifts in breach of the agency price cap rules which came into force on 23 November 2015 and the highest fee paid in each week.

The request also asks for information on whether Monitor is taking, or considering, any enforcement action against trusts which have exceeded the caps on a regular basis.

Monitor held part of the information and decided to release it on the number of shifts which were reported as exceeding the agency price caps from the week beginning 23 November to the week beginning 28 December 2015.

It did not release the information on the remaining monitoring periods as it intended to publish this in due course.
