The request was for information about the number of shifts filled by agency staff where the payments to such staff exceeded the price caps.

The request also asked for this information to be broken down by week, staff group or grade and, if possible, by trust.

Monitor does hold the information requested and has released information on the number of shifts which were reported as exceeding the price caps from the week beginning 23 November 2015 to the week beginning 28 December 2015.

The information has been broken down by staff group. It has not been broken down by trust.
