Details

The request asked for the release of all communications between the chair of the former NHS Trust Development Authority and the former chair of the Royal Wolverhampton Trust, with specific interest in governance issues at the trust.

The information was withheld with the application of section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act, as the communications related to personal information.

28 July 2016: On internal review, NHS Improvement upheld the decision of 21 June to withhold the information, and also applied the exemption under section 41 of the Freedom of Information Act.
