FOI 0502-15 explains that Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection of the Metropolitan Police notifies us of incidents and offences allegedly committed by and also offences allegedly committed against persons attached to diplomatic missions and international organisations and dependant family members in the UK. The figures are given for 2010 to 2015. The response gives links to the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs’ Written Ministerial Statement to Parliament on serious offences for 2010 to 2013. It also gives information on former Gambian diplomats who were convicted and sentenced for conspiracy to cheat the revenue. Some information is withheld under section 23 (Information supplied by or relating to security bodies) and section 24 (national security) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000
