FOI 0501-15 explains that whilst the FCO does not hold information, it gives a link to the government’s strategy to the Overseas Territories in the 2012 White Paper ‘The Overseas Territories: Security, Success and Sustainability’. The document explains that the British Overseas Territories (BOTs) are a cross Whitehall responsibility and links are given to the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Justice gov.uk websites. The response gives details of the FCO’s Strategic Programme Fund for the Overseas Territories
