FOI 0707-14 requests details of the nature of support given by the British Consulate in Rio de Janeiro to Exeter City FC during their recent visit to Brazil to mark the centennial celebration match between Fluminese Football Club and Exeter City FC. The British Consulate used the event to promote wider UK interests and met costs related to that, but not to the cost of the football match itself.
