Details

The Forensic Science Regulator commissions an audit of the work of forensic pathologists on a regular basis. This is the report of the seventh audit, which was commissioned in 2017.

It looks at case reports about:

  • a case where the forensic pathologist had been asked to take over a case initially assigned to a non-forensic pathologist

  • the next case, after that above, undertaken by the forensic pathologist
