If you are applying for a Gender Recognition Certificate, you must submit a statutory declaration as part of your application.

There are different statutory declarations for:

  • single applicants
  • applicants who are married or in a civil partnership
  • spouses or civil partners of applicants who intend to stay in their marriage or civil partnership
