The Home Office has a Status Verification and Enquiries Checking (SVEC) service that responds to enquiries from the NHS and provides information about patients’ immigration status to help determine whether they need to pay for NHS treatment.
The first form is used by NHS staff to make enquiries to the SVEC service.
The second form is for clinicians to declare whether NHS visitor and migrant patients will receive treatment before leaving the UK.
