Thank you for your email.
At the start of the pandemic the MHRA proactively approached companies developing Covid-19 vaccines and therapeutic products and invited them to discuss their development plans. These meetings were free of charge and were organised outside the MHRA’s formal scientific advice procedure. Regular meetings were held with the companies until their products were licensed. The frequency of the meetings was dependent on the stage of the products’ development, and were often organised with within 1 - 2 weeks of request.
