Thank you for your email of 31st August 2022, where you requested the following under the Freedom of Information Act:
“Please provide the risk/benefit analyses conducted by the COVID-19 Vaccines Benefit Risk Expert Working Group for each of the Covid-19 vaccines deployed in the UK
Please provide the conflicts of interest regarding the pharmaceutical industry and Oxford University for each member of the COVID-19 Vaccines Benefit Risk Expert Working Group who contributed to those analyses.”
The COVID-19 Vaccines Benefit Risk Expert Working Group is an expert advisory group establised by the Commission on Human Medicines. The EWG advises the MHRA on safety and efficacy assessments concerning the COVID-19 vaccines; the do not conduct risk-benefit assessments on behalf of the MHRA. Therefore the information requested is not held.
The interests of all members of CHM EWGs are listed in the published Human Medicines Regulations 2012 Advisory Bodies Annual Report 2021:
