We released the following information on 10 August 2010 in relation to a Freedom of Information request.

The table below sets out  the funding provided by the Home Office to the relevant police authorities for neighbourhood policing (substantially to help the authorities pay the salary costs of a set number of PCSOs during the years 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010).  The figures in the rightmost column for 2010-2011 note the allocations of funding made for the current year.
