The Climate and Environment Ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, the US, and the Climate and Environment Commissioners of the European Union met on 20 to 21 May and endorsed the launch of the G7 Industrial Decarbonisation Agenda (IDA).

This document outlines how these commitments will complement and support the activities of existing initiatives and amplify the ambition for decarbonisation, while plugging critical gaps in the landscape where they exist.
