The G7 foreign ministers of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the USA, and the High Representative of the European Union, met in Japan.

Following their meeting, their joint statement again condemns, in the strongest possible terms, Russia’s unjustifiable, unprovoked and illegal war of aggression against Ukraine. The foreign ministers also reiterated the importance of a free and open Indo-Pacific and condemned North Korean ballistic missile launches.
