Details

The 3 fundamental strands of the policy that are considered in this equality analysis are:

  • the effect of higher performance expectations
  • the effect of the subjects offered
  • the effect of the proposed assessment characteristics

The relevant protected characteristics are age (except in the case of schools and children’s homes), gender, disability, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, and sex and sexual orientation.
