This report is part of the FCDO’s Work and Opportunities for Women Programme. It was developed in collaboration with the Fair Circularity Initiative (FCI).
These women face significant inequalities, including pay imbalance compared to their male counterparts, workplace hazards, limited economic opportunities, and the burden of unpaid care responsibilities.
The report provides targeted recommendations for companies to advance women’s economic empowerment and address social norms, fostering more inclusive and equitable recycled plastics supply chains.
