General Lighthouse Fund accounts for the financial year ending 31 March 2013.
General Lighthouse Fund accounts consolidate the General Lighthouse Authorities’ (GLAs) accounts which are accounts maintained by the Department for Transport in combination with the two investment managers and the light dues collection accounts maintained by Trinity House.
The GLAs comprise:
- Trinity House in its capacity as a lighthouse service
- Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses (known as Northern Lighthouse Board)
- Commissioners of Irish Lights
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the 2012 to 2013 Government Financial Reporting Manual (FReM) issued by HM Treasury and are prepared pursuant to Section 211(5) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995.
