You can use compatible farm software to register cattle births and report movements and deaths to the British Cattle Movement Service (BCMS).

To do this, you’ll need to enrol for CTS Web Services by completing this form.

Reporting these events is a legal requirement to prevent and contain the outbreak of disease.

How to complete the form

  1. Download the form and save it.
  2. Fill in the form and save it again.
  3. Email the form to bcmsenquiries@rpa.gov.uk. Use ‘CTS Web Services user ID and password request’ as the subject header of your email.

BCMS will send you the information you need to use CTS Web Services.
