Details

The Government Consulting Hub (GCH) is a new team working at the centre of government to provide expertise on management consultancy, including supporting the implementation of the new Consultancy Playbook.

GCH is dedicated to helping reduce the amount that the government spends on consultancy, maximising value where consultants are really needed and upskilling civil servants to deliver consultancy-type work.

GCH will establish new approaches to knowledge generation and sharing, including an HMG Advisory Delivery Network. GCH will deliver training in partnership with the Government Skills and Curriculum Unit, and will drive up the capability and capacity to work jointly across departments to reuse thinking and work, and to be our own experts.
