NS&I’s current contract for its outsourced business process services will expire in March 2024. Following approval of the Outline Business Case from HM Treasury Ministers, NS&I is embarking on a significant transformation of its outsourced business process services, the ‘Rainbow Programme’. As it is normal practice for Accounting Officers to scrutinise major projects which form part of the Government’s Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP), the Chief Executive Officer of NS&I has conducted an Accounting Officer assessment for the NS&I Rainbow Programme.
