Details
The Government Property Career Framework (GPCF) supports the development of property professionals across government and shows the breadth of opportunities and career pathways available in the property profession.
The framework simplifies the roles in Government Property to five job families and twenty-two core roles.
Each role includes a description of the type of work, and expectations of skills and experience at each level.
There are four levels and standards of career progression so you can identify professional development goals for current and future roles. The framework also maps potential career paths.
The framework will help you identify your next step in a property career including what experience, qualifications and technical skills you’ll need to get there. It will help you decide what your strengths are by looking at the skills and behaviours you use every day and seeing where these can take you when considering your career aspirations.
