Continuing professional development is an essential commitment. It helps you keep up to date with the latest developments and improve your skills and capabilities. It will also increase capability across the property profession, and ensure GPP members are always at the peak of their performance.

In line with professional bodies such as the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the British Institute of Facilities Management, the GPP will be making it a compulsory requirement for all members to take 20 hours of CPD per year from April 2015.

This guidance outlines what constitutes formal and informal CPD to help GPP members fulfil this new requirement.
