This report sets out the Government’s response to the recommendations of four reports relating to the abuse of trust by health professionals: the fifth report of the Shipman Inquiry (Cm 6394-I/II/III, ISBN 9780101639422, published in December 2004) and the reports of the Ayling (Cm 6298, ISBN 9780101629829), Neale (Cm 6315, ISBN 9780101631525) and Kerr/Haslam Inquiries (Cm 6640-I and II, ISBN 9780101664028). The Government’s White Paper to reform the regulation of health professionals (Cm 7013, ISBN 9780101701327) and an overview of the Government’s action programme in response to the recommendations of the Shipman Inquiry (Cm 7014, ISBN 9780101701426) are also available
