Greene King Retailing Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full transfer licence at the River Frome at Fromebridge, Whitminster, GL2 7PB at National Grid Reference (NGR) SO 76959 07193.
The water will be used for a fish pass to allow salmonid species to migrate upstream. All water will be returned to the river at NGR SO 76942 07213. The proposed abstraction lies within the Ebley Mill to confluence River Severn catchment and Severn Vale Catchment Abstraction Management Strategy reporting area.
