We endeavor to deliver advance notices of the work in this area and details of when it is to take place to properties in the area 2 weeks before work is due to start. Any maps we have to support the work will be published here.
As part of developing the route design of the HS2 high speed railway, we are carrying out ground investigation surveys, between 6 June and 12 August 2016, on:
- Park Village East
- Mornington Street
- Granby Terrace
- Harrington Street
- Hampstead Road
Our contractor will be taking samples of the road surface and the soil conditions underneath the road and/or pavements to check their condition using a variety of drilling methods.
As a result we will need to temporarily suspend a number of parking bays or cone parts of the roads and pavements for the safety of workers. Where work is required in a bus lane, work will be carried out in the evening.
Please note that all dates contained in the notice may be subject to minor change, dependent on ground conditions uncovered along the routes. Copies of the notice have been distributed to all properties in the affected roads.
