Details of the application
Grundon Sand & Gravel Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number TH/039/0030/046 to abstract water from the Folkestone Beds Formation at Frith End Quarry, Farnham between National Grid References SU 80996 38987, SU 81546 39024, SU 81520 38835 and SU 81035 38747 for the purpose of transferring it without intervening use to the River Slea at National Grid Reference SU 81408 38793.
The variation applied for is to extend the boundaries of the existing abstraction area.
