The Secretary of State for Northern Ireland has today written to Northern Ireland Departments with guidance on decision-making during the temporary period while a Northern Ireland Executive is formed.

This follows the passage through Parliament last week of the Northern Ireland (Executive Formation and Exercise of Functions) Act.
