Version 2.0
Version 2.0 was revised by Mr Chris Callaghan and other members of SaBTO, January 2020.
Changes were:
- addition of a new annex to cover SARS-CoV-2
- addition of the effects of cryopreservation on toxoplasma gondii in section 12
- addition of hepatitis B testing for non-partner gamete donors testing in table 7
Version 2.1
Version 2.1 was revised by Mr Chris Callaghan and other members of SaBTO, January 2023.
Changes were:
- addition of a footnote to ‘Legislation and accountability’ to include the changes to UK legislation since the UK left the EU in 2021
- clarification on who should provide expert guidance on the interpretation of microbiological results in section 9
- addition of monkeypox (Mpox) to section 13
- updated residual risk estimates in table 4
