Details

This guide covers regulations about making changes to a PSV which require that you notify DVSA of these alterations.

You do not need to provide notification of alterations for the normal like-for-like replacement of worn, defective or damaged parts on a PSV.

To tell DVSA about any changes you have made to a PSV please use our ‘Notification of an alteration to a public service vehicle (VTP 5)’ form.
