Hanson Quarry Products Europe Limited has applied to the Environment Agency to vary a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number AN/031/0014/042 to abstract water from underground strata comprising sands and gravels at Baston Quarry, Langtoft, Lincolnshire for the prupose of transferring it without intervening use to a discharge point at either National Grid Reference (NGR) TF 14480 14070, NGR TF 13890 13180, or a silt lagoon at NGR TF 13887 13494.
The applicant seeks to vary the licenced abstraction area (contained within the boundary formed by straight lines running between the following National Grid References: TF 13159 15588, TF 15003 14789, TF 12857 12305, TF 15213 12181).
Abstraction volumes would remain unchanged:

At an instantaneous rate not exceeding 97.3 litres per second

Abstraction would take place all year.
